Captured from atop the Urambi Hills, I snatched this image as my daughter and I sat atop the hills to watch a final Canberra sunrise before my daughter’s departure on her Rotary Youth Exchange to Germany for 12 months.

it was a special moment together as we reflected on my daughter’s impending journey and what lay ahead.

We shall return to the hills and watch a new sunrise on her return to Australia in January 2015.
