Tulip Top Gardens is located in a hidden valley in Sutton, a rural region in New South Wales and a short drive from Canberra. The gardens attract tourists who also visit Floriade, Canberra’s major garden festival, which is held at the same time.
During the last 20 years, the owners of the farm have developed the property into a beautiful village garden. The gardens are only open to the public once a year in September and October, during the tulip growing season.
Thousands of various tulip plantings in various garden beds, as well as Spring flowering trees of various colours, are interspersed throughout the gardens.
During the weekend of our visit, hundreds of people were also enjoying the picturesque gardens, the Jazz band and relaxing under the shade trees.
