A rare weekend away on the coast and my eyes search for some new opportunities to find some atypical subjects to compose.
This shot, composed while taking a long walk along one of Batemans Bay’s beaches, on the South Coast of New South Wales and about 2 hours drive from Canberra.
An innocuous stick of driftwood; I could see its potential. Crouched down as low as I could go in among the sand as a strong wind was blowing, I wasn’t to know if it was a well-composed shot until post processing the shot later on.
